We hiked seven kilometers up, seven down. The last two found us clambering up a sheer incline of boulders and dust. At the top, we could see over Viña, Olmuè and Quilpue, all the way to the ocean on the one side and the snow-capped Andes on the other.
I got dirt all over my face. It was the hardest hike I’ve ever done. It was great.
